Check-ups & fillings.

The everyday care that catches small problems before they become big ones — exams, fillings and extractions, explained clearly before anything is treated.

What it involves

A close look,
a clear explanation.

A general check-up covers a full examination of your teeth, gums and bite — catching cavities, worn fillings, cracked teeth and early gum problems before they turn into pain.

Where a cavity or damaged tooth is found, a filling restores the tooth's shape and function in a single visit, matched closely to the colour of your natural teeth. When a tooth can't be saved, extraction is discussed as a plan — not a surprise, and always with the alternatives explained first.

Sudden toothache, a chipped tooth or a lost filling are also treated as general dentistry — call ahead and we'll see you as soon as the schedule allows.

What to expect at your visit

Four steps, every time.

01

We listen

You describe what's bothering you, in your own words — pain, sensitivity, or just "it's been a while since my last check-up."

02

We see clearly

A full examination, with X-rays where they'll actually change the plan — not taken as routine paperwork.

03

We plan together

Findings and options are explained in plain language before any treatment starts, including what it involves and roughly how long it will take.

04

We care for the long term

Treatment is followed by clear home-care guidance, so the same problem doesn't come back.

Questions

Before you book.

Roughly every six months for most patients, though it can be more frequent if you're mid-treatment or prone to cavities or gum inflammation. If it's been longer than that, it's still worth coming in — we won't make you feel bad about it.

Call or WhatsApp the clinic and describe what's happening — we do our best to fit urgent pain in the same day, alongside scheduled appointments.

The area is numbed first, so the filling itself shouldn't be painful. Some mild sensitivity to hot or cold for a day or two afterwards is normal and settles on its own.

Cost depends on what's actually needed, which we won't know until we've had a look. Call or WhatsApp the clinic and we'll talk you through it before you commit to anything.
