Crowns, RCT
& repair.

Root canal treatment, crowns and bridges — restoring damaged or missing teeth so they look, feel and function like your own again.

What it involves

Saving the tooth
where possible.

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, then seals and protects it — usually the best way to save a tooth that would otherwise need extraction.

A crown covers and strengthens a tooth that's been weakened by a large filling, root canal treatment, or a crack — shaped and shaded to sit naturally alongside the teeth next to it. A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a replacement to the teeth on either side.

These treatments often take more than one visit. That's discussed upfront, along with what happens at each stage, so there are no surprises partway through.

What to expect at your visit

Four steps, every time.

01

We listen

Pain, a broken tooth, or a filling that's fallen out — we start with what's happened and how long it's been going on.

02

We see clearly

An X-ray shows what's happening beneath the surface, which decides whether the tooth can be saved and how.

03

We plan together

Treatment options — and roughly how many visits each will take — are laid out before you commit to one.

04

We care for the long term

Once restored, you leave with guidance on keeping the repair working for years, not months.

Questions

Before you book.

The tooth is numbed before treatment, so the procedure itself shouldn't hurt. Mild soreness for a few days afterwards is normal and manageable with the guidance given at your visit.

With reasonable care, many years — often a decade or more. How long depends on the material, your bite, and how well the tooth underneath is looked after.

It varies by case — sometimes one visit, sometimes two or three, followed by a separate visit to fit the crown. You'll know the expected number before treatment starts.

Not always — it depends on how much healthy tooth structure remains and the state of the surrounding bone and gum. When a tooth genuinely can't be saved, that's explained honestly, along with the replacement options.
